RonDee... a St. Louis born musician who received his first guitar at age 13. Rodney Williams joined the Drama Club at Northwest High in St. Louis, performed in numerous musical and theatre events. Studied under Robert Hess and Pamela Dees at Forest Park Community College as a music major. 'it was there I was taught the basic traditional harmony of music " RonDee.... The basics in theory, piano, guitar and voice really set the standards for his style of music. RonDee received a A.A. in music in the late 80s and later changed his major to Computer Science.
Working his way through college, he worked as a bartender at a popular St. Louis Night Club called, "The Sorrento" (Owned and Operated by his Aunt and Uncle "Catherine and Ernest Jordan). It was there he was exposed to such greats as Count Basie, Ellington, Jimmy Smith, McGriff, Amad Jamal, and a host of others. After a eight year tour in the U.S. Navy, he started testing the music market with independent compositions. First recording "Tones From The Heart". This recording was a way of saying goodbye to several family member that passed while he was away in the military.

The second recording entitled, "When We Get Down" was released December 18, 2000. This recording has a little something for everyone. Sixteen tracks of original material with a piano solo at the end.
" When we get down set the tone for where I want to take the music. A contemporary jazz sound with a rhythm and blues groove. The classical training and being exposed to the sound of the great jazz musicians inspired me and set the tone for my style of music.
